Back to Bikram – Session 1

I started my day with a good breakfast, which made me feel good, because I woke up exhausted for some reason.


Bikram last night was great.  I only wanted to puke during the Camel Pose, which I though was pretty good. So needless to say, I only REALLY wanted to run out of there like twice.  LOL!!


I am so happy that I found someone to carpool with and she is super cool.  We are planning on going again tonight too.  Can’t wait!

Anyway, I got in there, Michelle familiarized me with the Studio, because I hadn’t been to this one. When I attended in the past I was at their temporary site while they were redoing the current one.  The studio is very nice.  I set up my mat and my towel, laid down to relax a bit and get used to the heat. Michelle came over and wished me a good practice and also informed me that the corner I set up in was like the “devils corner”. The hottest one in the room.  I opted to stay there anyway and sweat it out.

All-in-all I had a great practice last night and can’t wait for tonight.  I would go more into detail, but I need to get dinner ready, myself ready for tonight, all in the next 20 minutes.  I will try to write more tomorrow.

One thing that I did find really cool from our instructor Jon last night… that the first 45 minutes of our practice last night equaled a 4.0 mile an hour 30 minute workout. I can tell you that it sure as hell felt like it too!

One more thing… I weighed in at 179.6 this morning. A little down from yesterday and I will take it!  🙂
