I had to bike my 3rd Son to Urgent Care this morning to get checked out for a fever, sore throat, cough, etc. that he is having. When I got back about 10 a.m. and after dispensing medication for the sinus infection that he was diagnosed with (so happy it wasn’t strepthroat) and making turkey burgers for the 5 of us, I went upstairs to grab my book and put my bathing suit on. Before I put on my suit I weighed in for the day. Pleasantly surprised at 176.4. Again, if I can just keep it there I am heading in the right direction.
The weekend is upon us and the weight I lost during the week always is back on by Monday morning. It sucks, but it is my vicious circle. It’s not that I don’t eat as healthy, because I do. It is because I don’t eat as often and my Husband is home and we like to chill and have a few cocktails together. Larger meals and cocktails together seem to be my nemesis. I am aware of that, but just can’t seem to NOT do it. I want to spend time with him and it just comes hand-in-hand. This weekend I am going to try and do better though since I have been doing so good this week. 🙂
