Round 3 – Day 3

177.2 today.  Let’s just see if I can keep it there and head down further this week. I usually get to this weight then back up to 180 I go.

I made a mistake yesterday.  My friend came over that is taking prescription diet pills and she let me try one.  A little background on me… I hardly ever drink caffeine and when I do it is in very small doses.  A sugar rush makes me loopy as well.  I took it then about 1 hour and 40 minutes later I started to get these strange chills… my head started to feel like it was heavy.  I was like that for a few hours. Later in the afternoon my eyes were all sparkly and not focusing well (small pupils I think) and my head was foggy and heavy, my neck stiffened up.  Pretty much what a large dose of caffeine does to me.  I also get very quiet.  Needlesstosay, I will never be taking one of those again.

I drank my tea yesterday, only one cup though, then it was water for the rest of the day.  I had a donut in the morning, which made me feel like crap to start.  I can’t even remember the last time I ate a donut from a donut shop.  I had some quinoa and artichoke humus for lunch and salad, quinoa and chicken with Miso dressing for dinner.  Not a lot, but I was also not feeling good from those two extra things that my body is not used too.

I think that I am on the right path just eating more often when I remember and in small doses.  I can pretty much eat what I want that way, which is easy, because I normally eat pretty healthy food.  🙂
