What’s the most important thing you’re putting off?
And why haven’t you done it yet? What do you need to make it happen?
Unfortunately I don’t have just one thing that I have put off. I have a tendency to have ideas for myself to do a lot of different things. Scrapbook, paint, learn to play the guitar, take ballroom dance with my oldest Son, take belly dancing lessons, go to yoga, exercise, go on vacation, or even read.
I go though spurts. For instance… during the last few days I have painted two paintings (well, the second isn’t quite complete yet), I cleaned out some gross toys in my Boys’ playroom (it is a bigger chore then you would think when Legos are involved), picked up clutter from around the house, I am helping to organize and plan a good friends 30th Birthday Party, I have had a friend come over for a visit, I have gone to another friends to visit, I have baked a few times, cooked dinner every night, brushed the dog, read my book… along with many other things. Sounds busy doesn’t it.
Well, the months before that I was in a huge slump and hardly showered once a week. I think that we all go though times when we don’t do the things that we intend to, or want to. Isn’t that life? Balance?
I hope to do all the things that I have put off. Maybe not today, but hopefully tomorrow. I like to live my life one day at a time… moment, by moment. Isn’t life supposed to be interesting? I think so!
One of my favorite sayings is… Life on the Edge, Don’t Fall Off… said by yours truly! 🙂

Thanks Kat! I needed this one! I have SOOOOOOO many projects I want to do, along with the normal cleaning & organizing that needs to constantly be done but lately I’ve just been like “what do I feel like doing today” and not worrying about the other stuff. (well at least trying to forget about the other stuff) I think if I just keep doing that it’s good cuz then I’m not getting stressed about everything I don’t have time to do anyway!
You are so welcome. Balance is a healthy thing girl… no stress allowed. 🙂
